I have recently taken to drawing cartoons. I used to do a lot of drawing as a kid and studied art at school, but jetissoned it after school in favour of the outwardly cooler pursuits of playing in bands and, later, stand-up comedy.
I am still a sometime stand-up conedian, but the trinity of Covid, rural living and parenthood has kept me out of the game for the last while.
Cartooning is a great way to stay in the business of being funny without having to bus it to a nearby city to do sweaty open spots for no money.
